To celebrate the Adoption Center's first anniversary, the Humane Society of Davie County is introducing a Pet Sponsorship Program that provides a direct way for community supporters to help save the lives of our homeless dogs and cats.

Need a gift idea for the upcoming special events? Have you considered a present that will help a save life? Sponsorships are wonderful, compassionate gifts for any special occasion. Spouses, children, siblings, other relatives and friends will appreciate your thoughtfulness knowing that they are truly helping a homeless and family-less pet.

As little as $10.00 per month will help provide the upkeep (food and shelter) for one dog or cat at the Adoption Center. Any extra amount that you wish to donate will help defray the cost of veterinary care and the mandatory spay/ neuter that all HSDC animals receive.

For a sponsorship donation of $50, the recipient will receive a Lucky Me sponsorship certificate with a picture and brief history of the animal. With a sponsorship donation of $100 the recipient will also receive a HSDC T-shirt. HSDC will mail these items to you directly or to the gift recipient of your choice. Sponsorship is an excellent and heart felt way of helping abandoned animals and letting others know of our work at our no-kill facility.

Please mail your check to Humane Society of Davie County, PO Box 153, Mocksville, NC 27028, or deliver your sponsorship funds to our Adoption Center at 290 Eaton Road, Mocksville. We will provide you information on the animal you choose to sponsor and, once the dog or cat is adopted, a certificate of appreciation recognizing your efforts on behalf of abandoned pets in Davie County.
