From time to time, animals need extraordinary veterinary care. To help offset these unforeseen costs, we have established a fund we call Lilly's Fund. Lilly was the first animal we treated with excessive medical bills. She was Heartworm Positive and required a great deal of funding to treat. We partner with rescues across the country and regularly transport animals to no-kill shelters and adopters in other states. These animals must be in good health to travel and be spayed or neutered.
A New Leash on Life (NLOL) is a N.C. state prison dog-training program, where both dogs and inmates get a second chance. Our dogs live and work with qualifying inmate-trainers for 9 weeks, learning nice manners and obedience, house and crate training, and basic agility. For more information, click here.
We can help find homes for animals through our foster network. We use our network of fosters and adopters to market dogs and cats in need of a new home while the animal stays at your home. This is done instead of surrendering the pet into the shelter. Please contact Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
